Oats veg dishes for morning break fast snaks |
Ingredients:
Oats :11/2 cups
Black gram dal (Urad dal) :1 cup
Bengal gram dal (Chana dal :1 cup
Tuar dal : 1cup
Oil for frying : Little
For topping Finely cut Vegetables- Onion, Carrot,
beetroot, beans, cabbage, cauliflower
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder :1/2 spoon.
Method:
Powder Oats in mixer, Soak all the dals together in water for half and hour and then grind to a smooth
paste. Add the Oats powder and salt towards the end, grind to smooth paste and allow to ferment overnight (approx 16 hr). For making the toppings, heat a little Oil, fry all the vegetables, add salt and chilli powder. Take it out when done. Pour a little batter on a hot tawa and spread it out evenly on all sides to make a thick uthappam. Spread some of the topping over the uthappam. Fry it well on both sides with a little Oil and serve hot.
