Green Choley and Paneer Dishe
Ingredients:
Green choley -250gm
Paneer -100gm
(cottage cheese)
Pepper powder -1 tsp
Onions -2 (peeled and sliced)
Ginger-garlic paste -2tsp
Coriander powder -1tsp
Turmeric powder -1tsp
Green chillies -2 or 3
(finely chopped)
Oil - 4 or 5 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method:
Cut the paneer into half-inch pieces. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste and pepper powder and
keep aside for 10 minutes.
Heat the oil and fry the onions till brown. Remove these and keep aside. In the same oil, add the
green choley and cook over a medium flame for 2 minutes.
Mix in the spices and continue to cook over a medium flame for another 5 minutes, stirring all the
time. Mix in the marinated paneer pieces and half of the browned onions. Mix gently. Transfer to
a serving bowl and serve garnished with the remaining browned onions.
